Scotland's Golf
Scotland's Golf Heritage for the world to enjoy!
kintyre, turnberry
We are so lucky to have so many good golf courses in Scotland and we had a great day at the Kintyre Course at Turnberry in 2006. when I took this photo.
We enjoy our golf and use our own personal experience of playing the golf courses in Scotland plus information from fellow golfers to recommend tours and courses. Please click on the link below to see our list of courses. We are happy to supply further details.
• We arrange individually designed golf packages,
• We book suitable tee off times allowing reasonable time for travel.
• We arrange accommodation to your requirements.
• We arrange meals as required
• We book equipment as necessary.
• We arrange transport either self drive or with a driver to suit the party.
We can combine golfing with tours of the best scenery or visits to castles, palaces and other interesting places so if some of your group do not play golf, no one need be bored!!
Single day tours from Edinburgh can cover a lot of very good courses including
St. Andrews Old Course,
Carnoustie, Royal Troon, Muirfield, Gleneagles. Kingsbarns, North Berwick,Ladybank,
Longer golf tours in Scotland would perhaps include Turnberry, Cruden Bay, Royal Dornoch, Nairn, Prestwick Old, Western Gailes, Dundonald and for real travellers, Macrihanish and Machrie.
Golf in Scotland has endless variety. All you have to do is to enjoy the golf.
If you wish, we can recommend courses according to your handicaps.
Usually we try to ensure a good mix, some testing courses, some relaxing courses but it is all with your enjoyment as the principle factor.
We ensure reasonable travel times.
For some of the bigger courses we do recommend that you use caddies to add to the fun.
Gleneagles
The Old Course at St. Andrews is the mecca of golfers the world over. Come and see it and if possible, have a round on it.
Scotland has golf courses to suit every golfer, challenging, testing, or friendly - seaside links, parkland, heathland or hill are available.
Scotland is quite small and travelling to the courses is not a big problem.
There is a great golfing fraternity in Scotland and you will be made welcome especially at the lesser known courses.
